License & activation

A SeoFreshUp license costs $47 per year for one production site. This page explains how the license works in practice.

What’s included

Production sites	1 (identified by primary domain)
Dev/staging copies	Unlimited (same license works on staging.yoursite.com, localhost, etc.)
Updates	1 year included from purchase date
Email support	EN + FR, replies within 1 business day
Refund window	14 days, no questions asked

After 1 year, the plugin keeps working but stops receiving updates. To resume updates, renew at the discounted rate of $33/year (30 % loyalty discount on the launch price).

Activate your license

1. WordPress admin → 🌿 SeoFreshUp → Settings → License
2. Paste the key from your purchase email (looks like fc-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
3. Click Activate

The plugin sends a one-time activation request to Lemon Squeezy with your site URL. Once approved, all AI features unlock.

Move to a different site

To transfer a license between sites:

1. On the old site: Settings → License → Deactivate
2. On the new site: paste the key, click Activate

The activation count resets — you can deactivate and reactivate as many times as you need on different sites, but only one site at a time can be active in production.

Dev/staging copies

If you have copies of your production site for development (URLs containing staging, dev, localhost, .local, .test, etc.), they automatically inherit the license without counting against your seat. The plugin detects these patterns from the site URL.

If your staging URL doesn’t match a known pattern (e.g. preprod.example.com), email us and we’ll whitelist it.

Renewal

About 30 days before expiry, you’ll get an email reminder from Lemon Squeezy. If you’ve enabled automatic renewal at checkout, the card is charged automatically (you can cancel anytime in your customer portal).

To stop renewals: log in to customer.lemonsqueezy.com, open your subscription, click Cancel.

What happens if you don’t renew

• The plugin continues to work — no feature gets disabled
• You stop receiving updates (new features, bug fixes, model upgrades)
• Email support is no longer available

You can re-subscribe at the regular price ($47) anytime. If you keep an unrenewed install for too long, you may eventually need to upgrade to a more recent plugin version due to WordPress / PHP / OpenRouter API breaking changes — but you’ll have months of grace.

Refunds

Within 14 days of purchase: refund in one click via customer.lemonsqueezy.com, or by emailing support@seofreshup.com. Once approved, funds are returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.

After the 14-day window: refunds are at our discretion (we’re reasonable for genuine compatibility issues we can’t fix).
