The plugin uses your key to call AI models. You pay AI providers directly — no SaaS markup from us. Typical costs are listed on the Pricing page.

About 5 minutes total: install the plugin (1 min) → activate license key (10 sec) → create OpenRouter account + API key (3 min) → paste it in settings (10 sec) → run your first audit (30 sec). Done.

You need to be comfortable installing a WordPress plugin and pasting an API key in a settings page. That's it. No coding, no server config, no command line.

The opposite — SeoFreshUp is built to preserve what already ranks. Existing internal links, images, commercial CTAs (sales pages, signup links, store URLs) and outbound references are kept verbatim. The plugin auto-saves a 301 redirect if a slug changes during rewrite, and creates drafts by default so you can review before publishing.

The verdict is based on word count, age, internal mesh, traffic data (if Site Kit is connected) and content quality assessed by the LLM. It's a recommendation, not a hard rule — review each verdict in context. The plugin shows justification for every verdict so you can decide.

Yes. Every rewrite shows a side-by-side before/after comparison plus an estimated impact (Core Updates risk + AI verdict + SEO potential on the rewritten version). You can save as a draft (default) and review in the WordPress editor before publishing.

No. Content flows from your WordPress server directly to the AI provider you configured (OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic). Our servers only handle license activation/validation. The plugin code is open and auditable in your wp-content/plugins/seofreshup/ folder.

The plugin sends to our servers only: your license key, your site URL, the plugin version, and a daily ping to validate the license + check for updates. No content, no personal data, no analytics. Period.

Yes. We process license data under legitimate interest (executing the contract you bought into). We don't track users, don't sell data, don't share with third parties. Lemon Squeezy handles your payment data with full GDPR compliance as Merchant of Record.

Yes. SeoFreshUp auto-detects Yoast, Rank Math, and SEOPress, and writes the rewritten meta description into the right field for each. If you use another SEO plugin, the rewrite still works — only the meta description writing won't be automated.

Yes — SeoFreshUp processes the post you're auditing in its source language. WPML and Polylang are detected. The plugin uses the post's actual language for the AI prompts (so French articles get French rewrites, etc.).
